I’ve been immersed in the web design and development community for over a decade. I’ve currently accrued 8+ of those years in a professional environment. It has become more than a job; it has evolved into my passion. I create clean, simple, highly effective and usable web applications that take very little effort for the end user to navigate. I currently hold a BS in Computer Information Systems with a minor in Business Administration. My experience lends itself to both the technical and managerial aspects of web design & development.

I am currently implementing applications using Ruby on Rails. It has been my experience that not only does this provide for an extremely rapid development environment resulting in a quick turnaround, but also significant reduces the cost to the client when developing these applications.
My previous experience has been at Musicians Friend, Inc. They are currently the largest online retailer of musical relation equipment in the world. In addition, I served as the User Interface Design & Development Manager for them and their parent company, Guitar Center. My team and I were dedicated to the design, front end development, and usability of:

During this time, I have gained a great deal of experience relating to ecommerce, marketing, search engine optimization, user interface design and implementation, usability, web site statistics, and much more. My experiences there have enhanced my web expertise beyond my expectation. I was fortunate enough to work with leading ecommerce service companies such as: iProspect, Omniture, FireClick, SilverPOP, Endeca, and Offermatica.
Prior to my experiences with Musicians Friend, I was employed as a web developer for a WebMastery, LLC. It was here that I was provided with the opportunity to develop projects from initial design to live production. This included skills I now continue to hone such as: database design and development, programming, template design, and hosting. At this time my development environment included: VB.NET/ASP.NET with a MSSQL database hosted on Microsoft IIS. I have since expanded my expertise to: Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and Linux (Ubuntu). This has allowed me to meet the time requirements of my clients, while reducing production and implementation costs for them.
I am ambitious to learn new languages and application environments while providing businesses with the solutions that fit their needs. Additionally, I am able to provide fantastic consultation services based on the individual needs of a company to assist them in finding the most cost effective solution to fit their business model.
